Responsible Initiatives

We believe that it is imperative for us to be the mitigating agents to reduce the negative impact of tourism by addressing challenges faced by the inhabitants and the environment through mutually beneficial sustainable practices. Here are a few initiatives we have undertaken to keep up with responsible tourism practices:

  • We regularly partner with our clients to support relevant local social causes which range from working against child abuse, human rights, women empowerment, and water conservation.
  • We are associated with Literacy India, a non-profit organization, with the objective of empowering underprivileged children and women by
making them self-sufficient. These women create handmade bags from recycled paper with our branding which is given to guests to carry their documents and as a souvenir to carry back home.
  • As a part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) endeavor, we have donated an ambulance at the Amber Fort at Jaipur for any medical assistance around the clock, to the Amber Development Authority.
  • We have joined the Beat Plastic Pollution drive and instead offer reusable steel water bottles. These personalized water bottles can be carried back as a souvenir of the tour.
  • Our tours are carefully chosen on the basis of 6 parameters that act as guidelines to determine the overall sustainability of tours we offer.
  • We collaborate with an organization created and run by village women independently for organic bakery products which are offered on tours.
  • We have signed the “Women’s Empowerment Principle“ disseminated by the United Nations. This is a seven-step guide that business & other sectors can take to advance and empower women.
  • Tourism that is not sustainable cannot survive. With this in mind, we made a resolute commitment in 2016 by launching our sustainability measurement criteria for excursions and tours. This stands bolstered today with the formulation of our Sustainability Action Plan that will be our guiding principle to a sustainable future and pave the path to our ultimate goal of facilitating regenerative tourism.
